Sakamoto Days is a Japanese Manga created by Yuto Suzuki. It has been published in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump since November 2020, and as of March 2025, the series has been compiled into 21 volumes. Viz Media along with the Manga Plus online platform releases it simultaneously in English. The plot centers on Taro Sakamoto, a retired professional hitman who is now living the quiet life of a family man. But his former foes and colleagues from his hitman days come looking for revenge, disrupting his peace. To safeguard his loved ones, Sakamoto must contend with myriad enemies using his exceptional fighting skills - while trying to maintain a semblance of normalcy. TMS Entertainment steered an anime adaptation which released its first cour from January to March 2025. The second part is expected to come out in July 2025. The Sakamoto of the animated series is voiced by Tomokazu Sugita , and the show is available for global streaming on Netflix. By March 2025, the manga had over 9 million copies in circulation, reflecting its growing popularity among readers.
